Today's the day of the Tron Legacy soundtrack
release — available digitally for just $3.99 at Amazon by the way.
We've previewed it here, and as a soundtrack it's appropriately epic although not entirely unexpected. It's not really fair to judge it purely as a Daft Punk
release, but if you're hoping for some bangers then you'll probably be disappointed.The track released a few months ago, "Derezzed", is perhaps the most Daft Punk-like, and today its official video premiered on good ol' MTV.
Enjoy the 8-bit version of the tune, the brief appearances of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, and a cameo from the comely star of the movie, Olivia Wilde:
