stream british sea power's valhalla dancehall now

British Sea Power's much anticipated fourth album, Valhalla Dancehall, arrives next week.

Charmingly eccentric — or just plain weird, the lads told The Guardian UK that the new album is about "vintage Playboy magazines, population control, crazy golf, Dadaist artist Kurt Schwitters, hedonism, nature and 'French Hitchcock' Henri-Georges Clouzot."

Regardless of what it's about, the full album has been made available to stream at The Guardian and The Onion's A.V. Club.

The first taste was the jaunty "Living Is So Easy" back in November. For a more anthemic stab at traditional Britpop, check out "Who's In Control?":

The more atmospheric "Luna" shows the variety and ambition of the follow-up to the rather one-note Do You Like Rock Music?:

Too bookish to ever truly blow up, British Sea Power have at least reasserted themselves as an "important" UK band. Cheers to that.
