cee lo really has gone crazy
The rotund and soulful Cee Lo Green is best known, until now, as the vocal half of Gnarls Barkley - a studio partnership with producer Danger Mouse.
Now he's gone viral with a solo throwback track that is tearing up the interwebs... and not just because it's got a tight groove and a solid hook. If you somehow haven't heard it yet in one of a million blogs, it employs artful and impressive use of the F-word.
In what is sure to become the break up song of the Idiocracy generation, Cee Lo rants at the girl he can't have. The venom is softened a bit with this week's release of the official video, that begins with an 8-year-old Cee Lo playing out the scene in a 50's style diner — complete with singing Ronettes waitresses — through all his various awkward life stages.
You've got to give it to the man, he sure knows how to talk to crazy bitches.
