new sea and cake: 'up on the north shore'
Chicago art rock veterans The Sea And Cake are set to return with an EP, or mini-album as it were, on May 10 entitled The Moonlit Butterfly.
After a left turn in the early aughts to a more jazz colored sound, The Sea And Cake are back in their taut yet breezy form. Have a listen to "Up On The North Shore" via stereogum:
