As reported by NME, Britpop legends Pulp
are reforming for a 2011 tour. Jarvis Cocker and all of Pulp's original members have signed on to headline Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival on May 27 and the Wireless Festival on July 3 in London's Hyde Park.
Pulp's official website is worth a look — if only for Cocker's typically sardonic take on the prospect of a reunion tour.
"Is this a collective mid-life crisis?"; "is this an opportunity to reappraise the past viewed through the prism of the present day?"; and "is this really necessary?" are among the questions posed in a slideshow on the landing page.
