We like those London indie kids Yuck. They've got a curiously fresh take on American college rock of the 90's like Pavement
Their self titled debut
It's billed as a double a-side, probably because prolific band leader Daniel Blumberg doesn't write b-sides. "Milkshake" is a little more chicken fried than most of Yuck's material, but it's still got those winsome harmonies and heartwarmingly strummed guitars:
If you're not familiar with the other a-side, "Shook Down" is a beautiful lament and an album standout. Here's a live performance for Seattle's KEXP during SXSW:
