sondre lerche 'private caller' video
Norway's Sondre Lerche recently relocated to Brooklyn to start his own record label, Mona Records. Named for his wife, Norwegian actress and model Mona Fastvold, the fledgling label will release Lerche's 6th album on June 7.
The self-titled album appears to split the difference between his last two efforts, the laid back Heartbeat Radio and the slightly roughed up Phantom Punch.
That pop sensibility shows through in the video for "Private Caller," which premiered yesterday. Sondre is his usual disarming self as women of eras past pine for his attention:
The more introspective and slower burning "Domino" demonstrates Lerche's gift for mood and melody:
I'm looking forward to this one. From what he's released so far, this could be Lerche's best since 2004's Two Way Monologue:
