A few weeks ago, we brought you some leaked tracks from Cold Cave's forthcoming Cherish The Light Years. Now, thanks to Matador, we can bring you a stream of the entire wonderful album.
Cherish The Light Years is light years beyond Love Comes Close, featuring a more refined sound, varied moods and a remarkable new vocal confidence. Listen to it front to back, and I'll be damned if you don't agree that this is one of the highlights of 2011 so far:
Wesley Eisold's synthpop opus will be released on April 5, with an extensive US tour to follow. "Pacing Around The Church," "Confetti" and "Icons Of Summer" are current favorites, but there's no filler here. Hope you enjoy it half as much as I do.
