Shameless repost, but this is beyond excellent. Canadian electro composer Michael Silver, otherwise known as CFCF, released The River EP last October.
It featured a rather ambient track "It Was Never Meant To Be This Way," as well as a Miami Viceified remix by electronic duo Games — now known by their given surnames Ford & Lopatin.
The remix now has an unofficial video directed by artist/photographer Franck Deron. Using found footage — mostly of the 80's Vector supercar, which as it turns out actually existed — the video plays like cheesy period fantasy. It's the perfect marriage of sound and image.
